Safety at ESI is Our Number One Priority
We Are Safety!
ESI wants every employee to go home in the same condition or better. To give you an idea of how ESI ranks safety let us share some of our procedures and programs with you.
Jobsite specific topics may include:
Confined Space, NFPA 70E, Fall Protection, Excavating, Lockout/Tagout, and more.
All of our Superintendents are trained in CPR and First Aid.
ESI employees on worksites have an OSHA card. Superintendents have a 30 hour and crew members have at least a 10 hour or more.
ESI Superintendents are responsible for completing Safety Task Analysis and Toolbox Talks weekly. They involve the crew members by letting them lead the conversations and having them recognize the hazards. Involving the employees makes them more aware of what they are working with.
We have a 100% PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) rule at all times on all sites. This means all employees are required to have their hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves on at all times.
ESI is a Drug Free Workplace. Employee’s are tested for pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and post accident.
