ESI, Inc. is a proud member of the OSHA Partnership, and a Participant in the OSHA Challenge. ESI wants every employee to go home in the same condition or better. To give you an idea of how ESI ranks safety let us share some of our procedures and programs with you.

Education
ESI Superintendents are responsible for completing Job Hazard Analysis and Toolbox Talks weekly. They involve the crew members by letting them lead the conversations and having them recognize the hazards. Involving the employees makes them more aware of what they are working with.
All of our Superintendents are trained in CPR and First Aid.
ESI employees on worksites have an OSHA card. Superintendents have a 30 hour and crew members have at least a 10 hour or more.
All Superintendents and Project Managers are able to attend our Quarterly Safety Committee Meetings. All problems and suggestions are brought to the table where we find solutions and answers.
Prevention
We have a 100% PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) rule at all times on all sites. This means all employees are required to have their hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves on at all times. The only exception is if a competent person from ESI determines one of these items poses a greater hazard.
ESI is a Drug Free Workplace. Employee’s are tested for pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and post accident.
Everyone’s Safety’s Important. According to our most recent Perception Survey our employees indicated that ESI is a safer place to work than any other company they previously worked for. We have obtained this status not only because of our successful programs, but our successful, and motivated employees. We strive to excel in safety and performance. |
